From the top of the torre in Bologna. The tower we see is leaning so much that it is not open to the public. Interesting, the one we did climb (from which the photo is taken) is leaning as well. So many leaning towers in Italia.

I took a lot of photos of myself at the top of a torre (tower) in Bologna. In each, I concentrated on thinking different things. I can’t remember what I was thinking during this one. But now I think “Why the heck did I take this photo of myself?”

A church in Bologna. It was supposed to be bigger than St. Peter’s in Roma, but its construction was cut short, on orders of a university being built. Speculation is made that someone stopped it just so it wouldn’t be larger than St. Peter’s.
